Some consider him completely oblivious to the world due to him often asking questions to things that should be common knowledge to the average individual, giving others the idea that he just chose to ignore everything for 14 years. It's really him just seeking understanding about the world, and the individuals in the world. He's been seen to be well Reserved, and Calm even in situations that would cause individuals to react out of the Norm, which often causes people to think he's weird, though that's not to say that those kind of situations that would cause him to act out of place isn't out there. Val is that person that would reply with non verbal communication even when being spoken to directly, though there have been few instances while in the Academy when he have been addressed with expectations to speak, and have actually given verbal responses to the Teacher. It is his personality that kind of led him to being a Ninja.

[b]- [i]Pro I - Living with Dread:[/i][/b] A simple life for what started off as a rather simple Family. A Father who tended to the home while the Mother performed duties necessary to bring home the bread; and in the middle of it all was a young 7 year old Boy who lacked the aspects of a problematic child. They didn't live the Problem life that many within the Hidden Mist did due to the Mother being a well known Jounin and one of status, though fate would take turn for the worst for the Family. The Boy had a friend who he would play with every single day, one that he knew for as long as he was able to speak and crawl. Akano, Father of the Boy would take him over to his friend house so they could play for a bit while he tended to some errands. It is here that the Problem began to stem, as the Father of the Friend was also a Jounin, though not one fortunate like that of the Boy's Father. He was in love with the Boy's Mother but knew the life he dreamed of would never come true as long as the Boy's father remained in the Picture. He used the bond between his own Daughter and the Boy to get closer to the Father, eventually becoming close friends. This would eventually lead to the Boy's Father and Mother spending time with him. It wasn't long before a bond began to form between comrades of the Hidden Mist, all the while the Bond between the Boy and the Girl grew ever stronger. 3 Years would pass, and the Both would be the age of 10 before the whole world crumbled around them...

[b]- [i]Pro III - Memories of You:[/i][/b] It's been 4 Years since escaping from their Hell in the Hidden Mist. The Boy and his Mother continued to travel, seeking for a place they could call home. There weren't too many of those out there, though there was one. The Land of Fire Provided a great deal of protection for it's residences as opposed to those in the other locations. The Mother took a Job as a Waitress while the Boy did little odd jobs that a kid his age could do. Slowly but surely they began building a new life together, though the Mother was not blind to the distinct difference in the Boy's behavior throughout their time running. It became apparent that the Boy was Distant from all else but her, and that even as a Jounin, it became extremely hard to read the Boy emotions, leaving her to believe that the events of the past affected him far more that she thought. To counteract this, she would put him in more social situations where he was required to interact with people and build bonds, though it failed due to most of the people were adults. Vales had extremely neutral viewpoints on life and death and everything in-between so it appeared as him doing things when requested with no form of objection nor excitement towards whatever he was doing. She figured it would be more effective if he was to attempt to socialize with individuals his age, so her attention went towards Konoha and it's Academy. It would also be good if he learned to defend himself, so she brought the suggestion up to him, in which he went along with. While she wasn't a spy, she knew it would be unwise for her to become known to the hidden leaf, so she sent her Son off there as a Boy who had been made an Orphan by the cruel ways of the world. This would mean the two of them living separate lives, but she felt like it was the only way. Vales was taken in by a Family within the hidden leaf and was enrolled in the academy. From time to time, the only thing that would bring about unique reactions from the Boy was situations that brought about Memories of his Friend.

General
Appearance: Clypeus Yusuri is a fully grown, young women. She is 5'5 and rather light in weight. Wearing Black cargo pants with brown pockets, and a black long-sleeved shirt which depicts the Scutum star sign, her family’s symbol. She wears combat sandals and a over-sized trench-coat that covers her entire body from the neck down, she buttons it all the way down leaving only her neck exposed; rarely taking it off even when it gets in her way in combat. She has short, coffee-cream colored hair and misty grey eyes. She normally wears sound-canceling earmuffs to block out the screams of her lost village-folk.

Personality: Yusuri like many consumed by grief has sworn to a cause she deemed worthy. She has a deep rooted mindset that tells her she must protect all the people who can be protected. She is a stubborn child, and will refuse to hurt another person if she can help it. She can act very akin to a mother bear, but childish in her hard headed ways. However, this has bared its fruit within her mind. Clypeus is creative with combat, and loves to find creative and innovative ways to get out of situations rather than stab, burn, and run tactics that have plagued the world around her.
Despite her outer shell of determination, the center of this young women is rather indifferent, or rather broken. Inside of her head she hears the many screams of her village people as they were burnt alive. This accident caused her to hollow out the gentle, sweet person she had once been. She became a gourd, hollow exterior leading to nothing. She can only hope to mimic that of her colleagues emotions. As hers are simply that of an imitation. With this gourd of a shell, she swore herself over to a cause, one she hopes to further. She has no hesitation to kill if she sees fire jutsu users, who she does not consider an ally.
History: Yusuri had grown up in a primarily quiet, little village. Said village was known as a rest town and was normally unbiased to the people who used its services. Civilians, Ninjas, Mercenaries, and Raiders were welcome from all around. Yusuri was a sweet, young girl and the daughter to a owner of a public hot springs. She went around servicing guests. However, because of their openness to others they attracted disease they couldn't fit against. This made the land full of plague and bodies were burnt to try and erase the disease. This didn't help the case. Through the chaos came a solution from outsiders, burn the town, kill the people, only save those who weren't sick. Yusuri was one of the few who hadn't been plagued. On the day of the burning Yusuri had been taken to the town center with the few others that were free of sickness. When the screams started things went sour. The few villagers left listened as people were burnt, the smell of cooking flesh, most caved in and walked into the flames. Leaving a confused child to carve out her emotions to stop the fear. Promising that she would protect others from harm of any kind.

Appearance: Iku is a rather unassuming girl, short in height, who stands just shy of five feet. Not an impressive stature to be sure. Coinciding with her rather dubious height, is a rather slender build, all unimpressive in its sight as well. Though to give her some credit, girls at a young age aren't normally very large or tall. Unremarkable as well, her physique leaves something to be desired. Still, the girl's build and height suit her purposes. Then there is the girl's face; usually set in a stern, unapologetic scowl. Even so, if Iku were to focus on her appearance, she could appear rather pretty. Not the sort of thing Iku concerns herself with. Such as happiness, joy, enthusiasm, gratitude, etc.. That being said, it isn't positive whether or not she doesn't feel these emotions, she just refuses to show them well. Iku's cold personality is rather confusing to some, wondering where it comes from, what it stems from, why she is the way she is. Her cold personality can push some away, and cause those around her to feel uncomfortable around her. Iku, needless to say, is a hard read. She keeps a blank slate when she can. | Two things that need to be handled before an update occurs: 1) With your EXP total going from 35,784 to 37,701, it's 2 levels, not one. so you've got additional points to distribute. 2) The "Skill Name: Shinsen Setsuzoku no Jutsu: Sight Connection Technique" needs to be submitted to the genjutsu permits for approval before it can be added to the sheet. | Done, though there was thing that I had to correct that I didn't catch at first. You only earned 1900 bonus EXP and since you didn't convert any words to EXP, you only got to add 1900 to the EXP total. This still leaves your current EXP total over the 37,000 threshold to get that second level, but it's 37,684 instead of 37,701. | |

| Done, but you had your bonus EXP off by a bit. When you earned 11,498 words in a group thread, you've earned 11,450 bonus EXP, not 11,180. So you real EXP goes: 10,472 (Starting) + 11,450 (bonus) + 5749 (Words converted) = 27,671. | |

Appearance: Sophie looks permanently disheveled, like she's just come out of a long trek through the woods and hasn't gotten clean. Her hair is a tangled, dark green mess with twigs and leaves tangled in it, and her eyes are an almost unnatural lilac color. She generally wears long sleeved pants and a long sleeved shirt, both a swampy, dark green. Over that she wears a raincoat that is colored with a mix of leaf and twig patterns, as well as actual leaves and twigs. Personality: Sylvan is highly intelligent, as well as extremely paranoid.
