Shiruku didn’t understand this encounter very well, it was like a bad accident turned date? Not really so much of a date as it was a training session, maybe? There was a reason to why Shiruku didn’t understand this encounter. The first reason was how it started, she had been buying a few shuriken with the money her mother had given her, and as she had left the shop she had run into a boy and like a clutz… lost grip on the shuriken, they had lucky not injured the boy past a few scratches… Or at least at first, one of the shuriken had left a long scratch going down the left side of his face, and while it wasn’t overly deep or severe, it was obviously going to leave a scar. Shiruku had felt ashamed, and further guilt came when he had apologized for bumping her while she was holding such dangerous tools in her hands.
The shop owner had seen most of this and had come out with bandages and wrapped up a few of the patches where he had gotten cut by the weapons. After that Shiruku had tried to apologize, but he quickly shrugged it off again as his fault… he had been so… dull. “What’s your name, I’m Shiruku Hana.” She had said, he had replied in kind. Scratching his neck he asked if she had been hungry, she said yes even though she really wasn’t. He hadn’t asked why a little girl was carrying such dangerous ninja tools, but she had a feeling he either didn’t care or didn’t want to know. They had gone to a little ramen shop near the entrance to the village and eaten there, she tried to pay, but he refused to let her. Now she was in his home… He wasn’t sure why but his clan seemed to be having fun… she thought.
