Kirigakure no Sato, located deep within the Water country. Hidden by a dense fog that acts as a natural protection to keep the village's location safe from foreigners. The Mizukage is the leader of this village, this village is also one of the great five villages of this shinobi world. This village has it's reputation among shinobi's who have heard of it for being inhumane in some of it's practices. Like any other shinobi villages they have their own laws, and codes, and beliefs, what others might perceive as inhumane, they would see as being perfectly normal. Even though there have been some distaste among the villagers themselves about a few of these practices being cruel, so there had been attempts at trying to get some of these practices changed, but so far there hasn't been any luck.

The village prosperse pretty well, but not as well like in comparison to a village like Konoha. It's due mainly for the fact that they don't try to make alliances with other villages and try to open up trade, so a lot of what they do have is kept cycled within the country itself. This is mainly because of the stubbornness of the current Mizukage. While under his rule the village had produced some rather powerful shinobis, the village itself suffered in other places like trade.

Shinobi's that are seen in the village are quite noticeable compared to the regular citizens. Their attire being pinstriped material that are used like bracers, and metal graves which merge into their footwear. Beneath all of that they were black shirts and pants, over the shirt they wear a grey flak jacket. There have been a few here and there that wear waist guards as well.

A lot of the buildings within the village are cylindrical in shape and the taller building's have tree's and faun growing on top of them. Mountains are also found near by serving as extra protection for the village. So it quickly becomes a labyrinth in attempt to trying to find the shinobi village without being guided.

Today was going to be the first day where a young shinobi-in-training was going to get their new master to teach them the ways of the shinobi of the mist. Samhain Mizushima had been given word that his recent application towards obtaining tutelage and training has been accepted, but due to what had happened to him in the village, he would receive private training until he is seen fit and ready to move into a classroom setting. The only indication of who it was that was going to arrive was a shinobi who went by the name of Yuniti.

Samhain sat cross-legged on his bed fretting to himself nervously fidgeting as he slowly wrapped his cloth bandage around his head to once again cover his face up. Stop fidgeting… Its annoying and your gonna mess up that stupid bandage. Samhain turned to his right looking at the place next to him as if someone was sitting there. “I’m nervous, ok. We haven’t talked to anyone really for a while now, and this is one of the school’s Shinobi’s that is gonna determine are future here… it’s kind of a big deal.” Samhain said exasperated at his other half. Samedi rolled his nonexistent eyes at Samhain.

Samhain started to look around his room as his eyes twitched from left to right. The room was pretty much spotless when it came to cleanliness as for the past few weeks he hadn’t had much else to do while sitting around his room. The room itself was a dark grey color while the floor was made of a bamboo wood grain finish. It  was fairly plain as most of his time was spent in a depressive slump that he was just now emerging from, so he hadn’t gotten around to decorating much. He did have some ocean painting scrolls hung up around the room though as the ocean did tend to give him a calming feeling; one being of crashing waves on the eastern wall, a sunset beach above his bed on the northern wall, and an underwater coral reef on the western wall. The southern wall is where the door to the outside resides. The room is elongated from the southern to northern wall with a small one person bathroom attached to the western wall closer to the southern wall. He had a small desk below the painting on the eastern wall which was situated in the middle. The bed he sat on, which was really a small futon, was resided up against the northern wall and it was covered with black sheets with midnight blue pillows. The bed was also the only thing still a mess as he still seemed to have trouble getting himself to make his bed despite everything else. There was a small closet with a mini dresser inside of it at the foot of his bed also a part of the western wall in which he kept most of his clothes hung up. Next to the desk closer to the bed was a small stand in which the two wooden training swords he had bought stood crossed with each other. He also had a small bookshelf between the closet and bathroom, it didn’t have much on it besides a still currently overturned picture of his family, a few small books on the basics of medical study, and a few various comics.

Samhain finished wrapping his face and straightened his coat. “You think the room is clean enough….” He said as he took stock of the room. His fingers nervously tapping in rhythm against his leg. It’s fine.

Quickly turning his head back to the right. “But what if it isn’t, this place has got a reputation you know. We don’t want to get in trouble on the first day! She’s the one that’s gonna determine our future here.

I thought it was a he….

Yuniti is a feminine name isn’t it?

How the hell am I supposed to know? Now will you either make your bed or quit whining, I’m sick of it already. Anyways, if he, she, whatever gets mad at you, you know I will step in…

Samedi, No, please don’t. I can handle this, I’ll take the hits this time. We need to make a good first impression! And if you attack her… him, you’ll get us both killed!

I won’t promise shit to you, and you know Yuniti will need to know about me if he or she… fuck it, it’s a he until I know differently…. If he doesn’t know already. Besides, you know I’m not stupid, of course I won’t attack him!

Samhain stopped and straightened his long coat as he thought. “Fine… Do what you must.” Samhain looked down a little defeated and sighed. Crossing his arms again he patiently waited for Yuniti to arrive.

The mist that covered the village was thin inside the village, so it was easy to see around as if there was no mist. It was when you stepped outside the village where the mist would be thick and heavy. A shinobi would walk down the street heading towards the apartment she was assigned to go to, to be a private tutor for a child who had recently been taken in after their village had been destroyed in a bandit raid. It was a shame really that such tragedies would occur, especially in their own country. It was difficult to keep track of all the criminal's that live in this country and keep track of the hidden Mist's defenses at the same time without sacrificing something. So the Hidden Mist did what it could, but heavily prioritized their own safety above all else. They wouldn't deliberately go out of their way to save other villages unless they were hired to do so, at least that's how it is due to the current rule of the Mizukage.

Yuniti is a tall woman, standing at the height of six feet. She wore the uniform of the village, and had long black hair, with the ends colored a gradient of black to white. She had big light blue eyes and had a bust of at least a d cup. Even with her flak jacket zipped closed, you can still see that she had a nice bust. Tied around her forehead was the Hidden Mist village headband, and tied to the side of her head was a mask that held a unique design that mimicked the colors of yin and yang.

She would arrive at the desired location and she would knock on the door.

Samhain had just finished fighting with Samedi when he heard the knock at the door, which made him practically jump out of the bed. Would you calm down! If you make an embarrassment of yourself you make an embarrassment of me. Samhain huffed at this. “Oh, yeah? Sense when did you care? Now shut up for now. Coming! One sec!

Don’t tell me to shut up! I’ll speak whenever I feel like it. Samedi shouted back at Samhain as he started to make his way over to the door. “As you’ve made abundantly clear to me. I may not actually hear you but you still manage to give me a headache. Now please be quiet for a moment.” Samhain said quietly looking over his right shoulder back at the bed. Fine. Samedi said pouting as Samhain reached out for the doorknob.

Samhain slowly opened the door as he spoke. “Hello, sensei, my name is Sam- …. Oh, well that resolves that argument…” Samhain looked dead straight as he only came to Yuniti’s chest level in height as she was much taller than him. Samedi smacked his nonexistent forehead and groaned at Samhain’s sorry excuse for a first impression.

She could hear the words stated within and she arched a brow as she tilted her head. She would wait until the kid finally got to the door and opened it. Listening to what he had stated caused her to give him a stare. "What argument?" she asked. She would look past him and look into his apartment to see the condition of it. Overall it was rather clean, except for the bed which wasn't made properly. She looked back down towards the young shinobi-in-training and give him a gentle smile. "Well we shouldn't wait too long to get started. Invite me inside." she would state as she still stayed standing outside, personally she found it rude to enter someones home without being told 'come in'. Though there have been times where she would break these rules, but that would be under specific reasons, such as being on a mission that would require her to do so, but if it was something like this, she would, usually, try her best to keep herself polite.

Smoooooth… Samedi said with a grin. Samhain simply shook his head lightly before speaking up. “U-uh, n-nothing sorry, it was something stupid. Of course though, please do come in!” Samhain gave a curt bow as he moved to the side and opened up the door wider to let her in.

Please, I know it’s not much but make yourself at home. Bathroom is… right there.” Samhain said pointing right behind him. “and that’s pretty much it. I haven’t really gotten out much since I got here. The furthest I’ve gone is to the noodle shop right down the street so please excuse me if I don’t know my way around. So, whats the plan sensei. How shall we start training? Is there anything you need to know before we get started?

Yuniti would lightly bow her head as she would step inside the Samhain's home. Her eyes would inspect her surroundings as she walked further into the apartment. She listened to him and then glanced his way as she would smile softly. "Well for starters, why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself. I heard from my superiors that your village was attacked, so you needn't cover that with me. Tell me about you." her voice was soft, but firm. "From there I will decide what we do next, now come over here and sit." She herself would sit down in a seiza position and look right at Samhain as she awaited for an answer. She had patted the area in front of her wanting for him to sit across from her.

As Yuniti walked in to the room Samhain closed the door behind her. The mention of his village made a noticeable shiver travel down his spine. “You want to know more about me….?” Samhain looked around nervously. What did you think she was gonna ask you? Its better now than later, just re-introduce yourself, alright? Samhain was glad to hear that it sounded like Samedi had calmed down quite a bit since their argument only a few moments ago.

Samhain saw where she padded the floor and walked over and sat down cross-legged in front of her. “Alright, yeah. I can do that. First though, if we are gonna be working together, you need to know that its not just me your working with, ok? I already told you that my name is Samhain. Well…” Samhains demeanor shifted slightly as he hunched over a little more instead of sitting straight like he was earlier, the difference was barely noticeable but it was there. “My name is Samedi. I am Samhain’s other half.” As samedi spoke up, his voice was different, it had changed in becoming a little deeper and a bit more coarse than Samhains voice was.

He then straightened up again and his voice returned to normal. “Since I was born I’ve always had Samedi with me. I already recognize whats wrong with me and I’ve read about it. However, that doesn’t make him any less real to me. I don’t know if you heard me earlier, but I do often argue with him as we have very different personalities surprisingly. I just think this is importan for you to know as you will be working with Samedi mostly during combat as he generally comes out to protect me and its become more of a habit now, whether im in really danger or not. All other times it will be mostly me though…” Samhains demeanor switched again. “But I will speak up when I think there’s something that needs to be said.

Samhain sat up straight again. “Most of the time though, it’s only me who can hear him.” Samhain shifted around in his spot a little nervous of what she was going to say. Most times when other people hear him switch like that it leaves them feeling very uncomfortable. He understood though, it had to be strange for a normal person to talk to two people in one body. She seemed polite though, so Samhain wasn’t to worried, not to mention she was a shinobi so she’s probably already dealt with things like this maybe.

Oh great, she was dealing with a crazy person. She couldn't help but sigh. It didn't make her uncomfortable, no far from it. It made her a bit disappointed really, plus this would complicate things when it came to teaching somethings and could possibly dampen his ability in being allowed in a class setting. "Samedi and Samhain...well this is surely news, disappointing, but there's nothing we can do about it." well actually there was and she pondered about it. "Well there is, but that would be a rather bothersome process." she sighed. She rubbed at her neck thinking about such a process and really didn't want to have to set up such a thing and then the variables of what may happen, such as setting off one of the personalities into trying to fight back. Just too annoying for her to really want to deal with.

"Well, I guess I'll have to teach you both then, though I will add this in now, so you won't forget." The look on her face suddenly went serious and this dreadful aura just radiated from her in a suffocating manner. "Don't cause me problems, either one of you. You're both going to learn the same thing." even her voice, though light, sounded sharp and serious. It was plainly obvious that she didn't want any problems coming from either of the personalities. "If we have that understood, then we can begin your lessons." Yuniti is a jounin level shinobi of the hidden mist. The 'killing intent' aura that she, much like any other jounin level shinobi, can generate is quite suffocating to those of lower rank, especially academy students. So it's quite easy for them to strike fear into others that aren't as trained as they are. Of course she was two purposes for showing a 'small' portion of this killer intent. one is to show that she really didn't want any problems and two was to set it clear the level of difference that was between them.

Samhain could feel the cold fear welling up inside of him, he wanted to crawl away as fast as he could but his legs froze in place. The fear seemed to be broken by the sound of Samedi’s voice in his head. Dissipointing? You bitch! It seemed that with Samedi being outside his direct consciousness that Samedi was less effected by the aura…. That or he was just that much of a prick. Samhain made a quick shushing noise to his right. “Ok, so, we’ve definitely had worse reactions at least, that’s a start. However, I still would like to ask something of you. Don’t treat us like we’re broken.” Samhain placed his hands on his knees and sighed. This was definitely taking him out of his comfort zone. He didn’t like being thought of as crazy. He thought Samedi was crazy, but Samedi wasn’t him. He was Samhain, and he was forced to share this body.

Samhain took a deep breath, it always felt very strange to him when the two of them switched control this fast but she needed to understand. Samhain shut his eyes as a shiver ran down his spine and then the two of them opened their shared eyes back up. “Do not think of me as just another crazy person, we are simply two people in one body, you have two students not one, and we will learn together as if you had two students learning the same thing at the same time, neither of us just shut off, we simply cant control one body at the same time. My name is Samhain and I will be your student, sensei. My name is Samedi and I too will be your student. If you treat us as two normal students, then we won’t give you any trouble.” The two of them shut their shared eyes and a cold shiver ran down their back again before Samhain opened his eyes once more.

Samhain visibly relaxed himself as he slowly breathed out. He had a headache now, a very minor one but still a nuisance. “Ok, so I think we’ve come to an understanding. Don’t treat me like some crazy person, and I will try to make sure your job goes as smoothly as possible. Seem like a deal we can all agree on?” Samhain crossed his fingers in the back of his mind, but Samedi slapped them down and gave him a disapproving glare.

Seeing how the boy(s) reacted caused her to arch a brow and she just shook her head. "You need to clear your ears. Did you not just hear me say that I'll teach you both?" she gave him a stare. "I don't need to hear your reasoning or your excuses. I'm just here to teach you the ways of a kiri shinobi. I'm not here to be your friend, i'm not here to kiss and coddle you and hold your hand as you learn." She stated bluntly. "You will come to despise me at some points and that's fine. I could care less, but in the meantime, you will learn and I state that to the both of you."

Her hands were resting on her lap as she stayed sitting in seiza looking at the student before her. "Now then are you ready for both of your lesson's to begin?" Kiri Shinobi weren't the nicest of people, and Yuniti was actually one of the kinder ones, but when it came to teaching she was considered one of the 'Mean teachers'.

See, what did I tell you? Total bitch and a half. Samedi wasn’t completely wrong. She did seem a whole hell of a lot meaner than when she first walked in…. but then again, wasn’t this what he was expecting to get in the first place. He certainly didn’t like the idea of coming to despise someone, he never felt that he had despised anyone before, disliked greatly sure, but never quite despise. He could at least trust Samedi not to do anything that would get them killed. “Now that I feel thoroughly retarded, I believe that moving forward would be the best course of action. Unless you suddenly have the overwhelming desire to learn more about how I like long walks on the beach and how I like to poke dead things with a stick-

Samhain stopped and grabbed his head lightly wincing slightly. “Samedi would you stop speaking up now, the switching is starting to give me a migraine.” Samedi pouted in the back of his head mumbling something about not giving a rats ass but he soon fell quiet so that Samhain may continue. “Anyways yeah, I’m ready to move on to our lessons.

"You better keep that sass in check." she would state with the most eerie of gentle smile you can imagine a woman having. Her eyes would look him over and much like her smile, her stare held this eerie gentleness to them as well. She would continue speaking as she kept sitting down. "From the report I had read, you came from a fishing village, so I would presume much of your knowledge about shinobis' isn't all too extensive." Her hands rested upon her own lap lightly having her index finger of her right hand tap quietly.

"There are a couple thing's you need to come to understand when it comes to being a shinobi of the Kiri. Compared to most village's we have quite the brutal training regiment. We strive, under the orders of the Mizukage, to produce only the strongest of shinobis. We have very little use for emotion's as that isn't needed when it comes to completing your mission, but also at the same emotion's can't be abandoned all together as that can be a deciding factor to play in when it comes to a life or death situation. I will train you, and honed you till you become a capable shinobi. You will be with me until I see that you are qualified enough to be able to attend classes with the rest."

She would go on to add. "This is merely to make sure new students that will be attending aren't weak willed and know what they are getting into. We want shinobi's who are willing to do anything to be the strongest. So at least for your first day, I will cover over some of the basic thing's you need to know as a shinobi and the fundamental knowledge behind these things. It will range from taijutsu, to ninjutsu, to kenjutsu." The way she explained all this was calm, and gentle, but her voice was firm and was at an acceptable volume to listen to. "Both of you all are understanding this so far, correct? If you want to back out, tell me now and I'll leave."
