The constant mist blocked her vision at a far, her soundproof ear muffs making the world silent as well. Walking about boredly as she was known to do. Most assumed she just looked for a fight. Assumed, but untrue. Looking for a fight wasn't the case even in her rage fits. Yusuri didn't start fights, but she would definitely end them. As she walked Yusuri whistled a low B flat, staying in-tune the entire time. Flipping to a E flat, then a high B flat. She repeated this little tune for the entire time she walked through the misty hills nearing the town market.
Kiri, 'The Village Hidden in the Mist', a village of violent ninjas, a village with a equally violent history. However, Yusuri could care less about the violence. She found it as a challenge to stop it, and she guessed that was why she chose this village. Despite the violence, and rude elders, the ramen was good enough. Humming another note to her simple song before her stomach grumbled. Yusuri groaned and stopped leaning backwards, it was only just reaching the 6th hour of the evening.
Turning around and beginning a trek home for food only to stop after her stomach grumbled again. She hadn't eaten in a few days due to her budget, 500 ryo wasn't actually that much to live off of. Turning back towards town she sighed. Food here was closer and more accessable. Heading to the market area in town, she looked for somewhere to stop and eat. Many places were there, but Yusuri couldn't afford half of these places. So she decided to stop at a ramen stand. The small corner vendor was a great place to eat if you liked the udon noodles and other ingredients in the bowl. Walking up to the small vendor's front Yusuri quickly sat down next to a boy who seemed to be covered in nothing but bandages, she didn't care.
"Hey Gramps, one big bowl, Just the vegetables, no meat please." Yusuri ordered with curtesy, despite the flat tone of her voice. The man behind the counter-table raised a hand in a manner that simply said, "Sure."
Turning her head slightly she examined the boy a bit, her gaze was as blank as ever, her stare not meant to be upsetting or uncomfortable, "Your in the academy as well aren't you?" She asked. Her flat tone read as curious if you picked it out.

Samhain sat at the noodle stand just chowing away at his noodles, its pretty much been the only thing he’s been eating for weeks now. Not because he liked noodles that much but more because he didn’t have to chew them. As now, most things he has to chew end up falling out of his mouth and making him look even nastier than he already is. So Samhain ate in silence as he usually did without thinking about much except what he should do or research tomorrow. He was wearing his normal attire with the long overcoat and the bandage wrap around his head, and had also chosen to take his dual wooden practice swords with him too, in case Samedi insisted he go practice. He was actually startled a bit when a young girl sat down next to him and ordered something.

This bitch looks she wants to fight. Ask her if she wants to fight! Samhain simply made a quick shushing noise, trying not to draw attention to himself. Then she asked him if he was a student which made him shrink down a little and find his noodles unnaturally interesting. See! She totally wants to fight! Samhain getting annoyed snapped to his right. “No she does- ……. I-I mean, yes. Kind of…. In a way. I-I don’t attend classes you see. I’m sorry whats your name, I’m Samhain.

"So your privately tutored? Must be quieter than normal classes." Yursuri began, ignoring the odd statement Samhain had began to say before he had answered her. Giving him a blank look and a empty smile she continued, "I'm Clypeus Yusuri, I'm a academy student as well. I plan on becoming a Special Tool-Nin. I want to spealize in ways to stop the violence that ruins this country." She held her gaze on him. Based on the reaction of other students in tue academy she had a dumb dream. Was that truly a problem though? Wanting the end violence... And fire.
Fire was a devil to Yusuri, one she could never forgive within a million life times, "It's okay to laugh at my stupid little dream by the way. Everyone else has." Yusuri said almost as a after thought as only seconds had passed since she had spoken last. Watching steam rise from the boy's ramen bowl as she waited for a reply.

Hahahahaha! Your right, it is stupid, and you should feel stupid. Now wallow in your stupidity! Samhain growled a little bit. “It’s not stupid!” Samhain said just a bit too loudly. “Shit, I’m sorry. It’s not stupid I actuallty want to specialize as a medical-nin for similar reasons, I think that’s really cool of you actually.” Samhain looked down at his bowl shyly, he felt weird wearing these bandages around his face and it made him look weird too but he figured it was still better than not wearing them. He really wanted to just talk to this girl without freaking her out, or without Samedi scaring her off, but how?

I may not know any good jutsus yet, but it sounds like we could probably help each other out… in the future that is. I mean I’m not totally useless in a fight either, Samedi makes sure of tha-…..” Realizing he just mentioned his other half, Samhain quickly clamped up and began to quickly eat his Ramen as if he hadn’t eaten for days, in a strange attempt to redirect the attention. Samedi could be heard chuckling in the back of Samhains head. Whats wrong? Embarrassed of me are you? Now that’s not very nice.

Yusuri ignored the strange comment again, not bothering to ask about it, "Well maybe we can help each other out." Yusuri said, her blank face forming a thin smile, even if it held no emotion. A large bowl was set in front of her and she payed for the food, before thanking the cook for the food. Eating as she listened to Samhain talk. The noodles and broth were salty by taste, and rather delicious. The vegetables were soft and chewy, mixing well with the salty taste of the noodles and broth.
Continuing to listen as she ate her ears perked a bit when she heard the name he spoke, Samedi. Chewing and swallowing the Ramen in her mouth before speaking up head turned, "Samedi... is that your Sensei? All of our Sensei are shared in normal classes, must be nice," Yusuri said taking another bite before continuing, "So where do you come from here in Kiri?"
Waiting for a response Yusuri continued to eat her food. It was delicious, need anyone to have an excuse to do so? She was waiting for Samhain respond sure, but still good food needed no excuse. As she ate, Yusuri again examined the boy next to her, he was covered in bandages, didn't bother her, he seemed to be frightened of someone, possibly the Samedi he mentioned, and he was obviously lanky, meaning that he was probably best suited to something involving chakra control, unlike her, who had only decent chakra control.

Samedi seemed offended by the notion of needing help from some girl, even though that’s not what she was asking. He didn’t like anyone trying to proclaim that Samhain needed anyone but Samedi to help him. Or maybe you could go ahead and suck my-I think that would be lovely!” Samhain spurted out interrupting Samedi in his head. While he knew Yusuri could not here Samedi, it literally sounded like Samedi was sitting right next to him as his mind kept trying to convince him that Samedi was a physical presence and not just a mental one.

And to answer your question….. ummm… no Samedi isn’t my sensei.” Samhain stopped to think how to explain it without weirding this girl out… despite the fact that her lifeless face was weirding him out some. He couldn’t complain though outside of his actual sensei this was the first human contact he’s had for months. “He’s my…… my… brother? Per say?” Samhain was uneasy talking about Samedi. Samedi on the other hand was finding Samhains uneasiness quite enjoyable. I have a feeling that when she does find out about me its not gonna be as enjoyable as I hope. Just look at her, she’s a complete dullard. When goin for a girl I don’t really have high expectations for you but you could atleast do better than this. If ya do scare her off atleast its not much of a loss.

Samhain ignored Samedi more effectively this time. “As for where im from, im not actually from this city. I was brought here for the ninja academy a few months ago, I’m only recently starting. I went ahead and bought myself some training swords as I thought that might help me out give me a little bit of an advantage as I don’t really know any actual fighting techniques.”  Samhain picked some of the fish meat in the bowl and quickly ate it. He certainly missed the nice filets they used to make back home. He  missed being near the water. Without the sound of the constant lapping of the wves against the docks or shore, he could feel the stress building up. At the same time he was determined to get to know this student, he wanted to make a friend so bad, even if it was with this person who was strangely dull. He knew that the mist shinobis were known for how they were forced to kill off their own emotions but even his sensei still had some spark in her. Yusuri just seemed so dead inside, which was saying something coming from the kid who murdered his own siblings.

He looked at unease, but Yusuri did nothing to halt it. To a very short extent it was kind of cute to her. If that was really a way of putting it, for her to tell was so much harder.  Cute wasn't exactly her strong suite, ignoring the past maybe. She ignore her past for years if she felt the need, it had worked for her so far. The screams always came back, she did her best not to hear them. This caused her to squirm a bit herself, unease was one of the three feelings she retained even if it was only a small bit.
"Wonderful! We could work some after we finish eating here." Yusuri said in return, taking a few more bites of the ramen. She could barely hear him through her ear muffs as she did so, making out what he said slowly. Taking bites of her food and deciphering what he said. What he said had her taking short stroll down memory lane.
"So you’re a brother? I don’t remember mine… or if I ever had any at all. I don’t actually remember much before the…” Yusuri trailed off, trying to stop the shaking with another bit of food, but it only caused her to gag. Forcing herself to swallow, the lump of vegetables in her mouth. She looked like a deer that had been found and was being hunted, being toyed with and knowing perfectly well that they were being toyed with before they died.
Listening to Samhain talk about not being from the city just made it worse, she needed to go crawl into a corner, a dark room where the screams wouldn’t get to her. Turning to Samhain she gave a look that was filled with a clear message, ‘Change the topic before I lose it. Please.’ His second half of what he said.
”I went ahead and bought myself some training swords as I thought that might help me out give me a little bit of an advantage as I don’t really know any actual fighting techniques." To this she nodded, it was a good change of topic, one that was needed all too much. Staying silent rather than reply, at first, Yusuri spotted the two swords on his back.
“So you’re an orphan too, aren’t you?” She said icily flat, her voice quiet and weak like a whisper. Her skin visibly paler than beforehand.

Under the bandages Samhain’s brow furrowed. Something bothering you ‘brother’?  Samedi said with more than a hint of malice. Making Samhain nearly seethe with anger and his breath quickened in kind. “Yes I’m an orphan, but we are moving on from that topic now thank you.”  Samhain grasped his bowl and began to drink down the entirety of the rest of its contents in a heated rush. He was too busy worrying about his own past to notice Yusuri reaction to the mention of a brother. Hell the thought of his own actual brother brought up some disturbing and repulsive images. A portion of the contents of the bowl actually poured out from the sides of his bandages as he drank too quickly to avoid it.

Damn it!” He swore as he made the small mess.  He grabbed a whatever napkins or towels he could find and tried to clean himself off. Cool your jets Romeo, at this rate you’ve made enough of embarrassment of yourself to scare off any half decent girl. Oh, and by the way your face is leaking… Samhain had nearly lost it at this point and slammed down the money to pay for his food. “Shut the Fuck up you bastard!” The attendant of the noodle stand looked around for a moment awkwardly took the money and then shied away from the stand for a few moments. He had lived here long enough to know not to get involved with ninja business, even junior ninja business. Samhain, however, realizing he was having a mental breakdown right in front of this girl looked up at her with fear in his eyes, pleading eyes begging her not to judge him.

Yusuri nodded as he asked to move on from that topic. Finishing her own bowl, she placed her money on the table and stood up. Looking at the boy she showed no form of... Well, anything. Yusuri was the blank card inside of a deck, the gourd girl. It was horrifyingly simplistic how she responded. Predictable, by the book, there were a thousand ways to describe how she reacted, but the easiest was 'By Impulse'. She had walked up to the boy and given him a quick and comforting hug.
As the emotionless girl pulled away she gave a smile that could have made a child have nightmares for years. She never was a smiling-type of person. With her past making it all the harder to smile, she forgot how. For now though she attempted, and managed to fail miserably. Sighing, she dropped the smile, "Come on, lets go start practice. It'll get dark before to long."
