The Shinobi's history

Chakra was originally something that belonged to the Shinju, the divine tree. When Princess Kaguya Ōtsutsuki ate the fruit the Shinju bore, she became the first person in history to wield chakra. With her newfound power, she ended all the wars that plagued the lands. Her sons, Hamura and Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, the latter of whom would become the man known as the Sage of the Six Paths, were the first people to be born with chakra. It was Hagoromo, who would later be known as Sage of the Six Paths, who spread chakra to others, intending for the chakra to connect people's spiritual energy so that they would understand one another without even talking. This became known as ninshū (忍宗; Literally meaning "Shinobi Sect"), with his goal being to lead the world toward peace. However, the people did not use chakra in the way the Sage had hoped, instead using it to connect their inner spiritual and physical energies. They kneaded their inner chakra to amplify and weaponize it, creating what is now known as ninjutsu. In the end, they ended up using their chakra in battle, just as Hagoromo's mother Kaguya did.

From this spawned Ninjutsu and soon followed after that the creation of 'Shinobi'. By now this story has been either entirely forgotten or regarded as a myth. Shinobi's have scoured the lands coming together and forming Clans. Amongst these clans there were two that stood out above the rest; The Senju clan and the Uchiha clan. The Senju clan and the Uchiha clan had been at war for a great amount of time until the time of Heisei Senju's rule as clan head, with assistance of the sheer stubbornness of his son, he had come to realize that it is entirely possible to make friends with those of the opposing clan. this only arrived after witnessing that his son in fact had made friends with a Uchiha clan member.

This had created the first historically documented alliance between shinobi clans. From there the Uchiha clan and the Senju clan have worked together striving towards the better of humankind. The Senju, with great assistance of the Uchiha clan have come to settled themselves within Fire country and created the first known 'Hidden Village' to which in the coming centuries other clans would proceed to copy what the Senju and the Uchiha have done and created their own villages as well. This sparked a great change in the world and soon enough shinobi villages had been formed in many countries serving as a means to protect not only themselves and their country as well.

Centuries have passed and times have changed, leaders fall and new ones rise. The five great countries; Fire, Wind, Water, Earth, and Lightning are the top tier when it comes to shinobi villages. When a Kage deems it important enough they can call a Kage Summit Meeting, a meeting where the Kage from the Five Great Shinobi Countries meet to discuss matters affecting their respective countries and the world at large. The first ever meeting of the five Kage was convened by the First Hokage, to discuss the formation of the hidden villages and to sign a memorandum that would work in favour of the progress and prosperity of their people. This meeting succeeded in instilling the main foundation for what is now the shinobi infrastructure. Unfortunately, the peace did not last and competition between the villages eventually led to the First Shinobi World War, by now there has been only three shinobi wars. There has been four Kage Summit Meetings to this current date.

Currently the villages are at differences with each other. The last Kage Summit didn't turn out so well the Hokage attempting to reach a peace treaty with the other villages didn't sit so well when discussing the details. Though as it stands no one seems to be budging an inch towards peace between the countries. The year is 1856 and this is where your tales as shinobi begins. From here onward you will shape the future and mold it to your wills. Your action's decides what happens. Will there be war? Will peace finally descend upon shinobi-kind? As you begin, follow your nindo, your shinobi way and the future shall reveal itself to you...for better...or for worse...
