Apples and Humor

Shiruku had been worn from her training, never feeling like she made progress whenever she went out. Today, she had planned to go the local park area to relax and possibly train. She wasn’t entirely sure she wanted to, it felt useless. Her training with Seresana had “helped” to an extent, but it hadn’t helped. For a while she had stayed optimistic about it, but Shiruku didn’t really know how to climb out of this rut. It was simple disappointment that she had yet to see results.

Walking down the road a light breeze trailed over her, following as she turned the corner. For a split second everything felt a bit lighter, whether that was do to the universe’s odd humor or the fact that she was very soon crushed by someone she couldn’t quite tell. As she noticed the stranger falling, it had been far too late. As they collided she fell to the ground hitting her head in the process, a sharp pain coursing past the rest of the impacted portion of her body as the other half was soon to be crushed by the weight of what she had yet to recognize as a young boy. As they finally stopped bouncing Shiruku let out a short pained gasp.

Kozu had managed a true oddity on this fine day that even he wasn't sure how he managed to accomplish. Through some crazy series of steps and a drive that did and would continue to utterly baffle and elude him, Kozu had managed to work his way up and into a tree where he subsequently found a strong enough branch to support him. Once he was up there though, Kozu was quite surprised that it was actually very difficult to get comfortable. After several minutes of shifting about and far too many close calls, Kozu finally managed to get into a position where he was fairly certain he could sleep in, and proceeded to do just that. Just as he was really starting to fall asleep though an errant breeze came by and threw off his balance just enough that he found himself suddenly plummeting.

Yet the sharp pain of the expected impact was considerably less than he was expecting, and that had him puzzled. "Huh, what did I land on?" Kozu asked as his hands began to feel beneath him to try and figure out this mystery. "Hmm, soft?" he asked as his hand tried to get a better grip and squeezed a little.

For a moment Shiruku was almost unconscious with the pain of the impact, catching her breathe. The voice of a boy around her age caught her attention, but she didn't really make out what he had said. It wasn't until she felt hands on her body that she was brought back to full consciousness. Though her body was still young and undeveloped, what breasts she had to speak of, like most women, were taboo to the hands of another. When Kozu groped her she immediately jerked upwards slamming her head into his by accident. Her arms covering her chest as she let out a a fearful yell. The pain she now felt in her head subsided and she was left with a blank look, looking at Kozu her face turned bright red and she scrambled to get out from under him.

Shiruku's sudden little jerk up and subsequent collision of their heads certainly generated the pain Kozu had been missing from the fall. It was enough to mostly dislodge him from on top of her, and so her subsequent squirming was more than enough to easily throw Kozu off and so he landed in a heap to the side, complete with a few gasps and surprised yells. After that thud, Kozu sat up and rubbed the spot on his head while mumbling ow's.

"What was that for?" Kozu asked with a bit of irritation amidst the pain in his voice.

Shiruku felt bad about slamming heads with the boy that had landed on top of her, but his groping of her had left her a bit shaken. He seemed unaware of what he had done, it didn't take a scientist to notice the band over his eyes and she realized he probably hadn't seen what he had been grabbing. Opening her mouth she went to apologize, but only a single word came out instead, "Echi."

The reply he got wasn't one Kozu had been expecting and the surprise offered a reprieve from the thoughts of how much his head hurt. "Hey now-" Kozu started but drifted off as he continued to process what he'd heard. "Wait, that was a girl's voice, which means I probably landed on a girl... and then she said echi at me..." There was a pause in his thought process while lifting the hand he'd used to feel around before his face as his expression slowly slipped to one of surprise and bafflement. "I touched something soft, and then she freaked out. I... I must have... I'VE FINALLY TOUCHED A GIRL'S BOOB!" Kozu thought to himself excitedly as his hand clenched into a fist and his face tightened into a triumphant grimace at his pain filled conquest.

But it only lasted a second before his head fell forward in defeat. "And she's flat as a board," Kozu thought as the truth about how hollow his victory had actually been rang out within his mind. Eventually though, his head raised back up to actually make a vocal response to the insulting comment. "Hey, that's not fair to say. I couldn't even see what I was grabbing," he added with a point to the blindfold. "Not that there was anything to grab," he thought to himself. "Oh but, you are okay right? From the fall?"
