Chapter 1x4: Brave New World

One way to describe the state of the day was just absolutely grand. The streets of Konoha was just as lively as any other day, and the sun beamed down upon all of them, giving a great deal of life to what would be an ordinary day. Many days like this, people would find themselves doing some kind of activity involving water, whether it was going to the beach, playing with some kind of spouting watering source etc...This was what one Blue-haired individual in particular had in mind. So much had happened recently that his mother had convinced him that he owed himself this break. There was the whole saving her incident, followed by getting Zhael and Lily out of that jam. Even though the two wasn't expelled since no instructors found out, they were placed on lock down by their Parents, while Val Mother was Proud of his action. It's because of this that the Yuki would be soloing it today, though it was not in any way a big deal. In nothing but Boxers, the Yuki slipped on long black pants before then reaching for a white dress shirt, buttoning it from the bottom up once it was upon his body. As he buttoned up the Shirt, he reflected on Lily crying over Zhael's injured Body, happy that she didn't lose her close friend. The way she thanked him from the bottom of her heart caused Val to smile slightly, which in itself was a really rare event. For a moment the thought overtook his mind before snapping back to reality. He turned his attention towards his door and grabbed a jacket, which would in someway resemble some kind of uniform, throwing it on and completing dressing. Next to the Jacket Original location was a Cloak, which really didn't make too much sense to wear on such a Sunny day, but it was a gift from Zhael, originally in the form of 500 Ryou for saving his hide. Worn correctly, this thing hid his entire body excluding his head, and down from his knees. One last item was missing besides his projectiles which he always grabbed once he had everything else, which was his Swimming Trunks laying on top of his bed in a folded fashion. Grabbing those and his gear, he was already set to be on his way.

" Oh Val dear, Pick up some Eggs later when you get back. I plan on making something really nice for you once you return ".

The request came from his Foster Mother, and it was met with a simple nod before he exited the building. With his destination set in mind, it wouldn't be too long before he would arrive. Exactly an hour later, Val made it to the location, though did not expect what he saw. Originally he expected to walk into an Open field, Trees in the far distance with bushes in between them, occasional dirt Patches along the grass with a watering hole in the middle. What he got was this, but with people in the area. There wasn't too many, but more than just himself was already more than enough. There was a few chilling in the Water, some chilling with their group of friends, and even some sparring with each other. It would give others the idea of a small outdoor Party, which was okay for Val, even though he would have preferred it be empty.  Sitting on the ground near the water, The Yuki began taking off some of his clothes, starting with the Cloak, followed by removal of his shoes, placing them right on top of each other.

The next article of clothes that was to be removed was his Jacket, followed by his Shirt. As Val began to unbutton his shirt slowly, someone arrived from behind, and with the voice being so close he assumed that the voice was addressing him. Turning to Yusuri, Val processed the question asked by her and really didn't know what she meant. He Initially came here to get a Swim alone and enjoy the nice day within waters. If she had asked what was he supposed to do, he probably would have replied ' Swim '. He couldn't know what they, or even she was supposed to do, definitely since He didn't know her at all. He couldn't even Pick her face out of any of the images of his past regarding the school, though it was not any fault of hers. Val just didn't pay too much attention to others unless they addressed him, which is how Zhael, Lily, and himself became friends. Nonetheless, While he wasn't one to really say much, he wasn't one to be Rude either, and from what he understood from recent social encounters, many considered it really rude to leave someone unaddressed. His Fingers stopped fiddling with the Buttons of his Shirt, paused if you will. His shoulders rose slightly to the level of his ears, though he wouldn't leave it at that. His attention shifted to what everyone else was doing, starting with the individuals in the water.

" That's something I can't really tell you. I came out to Swim...".

His attention then went to the individuals that were sparring with each other. They seemed to be working hard at it, while keeping what they had to a minimum due to the presence of others. Being someone shooting for the Ninja life style entailed that one would have to watch their actions, even when sparring, and definitely in Public.

" They came out to Spar ".

Following those words, his attention then shifted to the others who was just standing around talking with their friends. While Ninja's, they were also people, and socializing kind of came with being that, no matter how little socializing one did. Whether it was to get Information or not, it was a necessity, something that some people did naturally, and far more than others. He was an prime example of someone who didn't really socialize too much, but still he did to some degree.

" They came to socialize with their friends ".

There was a few things that could be done while out here to enjoy the day, but that could only be determined by Yusuri and only Yusuri. With all these things in mind, he came down to this conclusion, facing her once again before speaking.

" Everyone's out here to enjoy the day I assume, so I guess the Answer would be...what you like doing to enjoy a day like this ".

Val wouldn't continue undressing while Yusuri was in his presence, though his mind wasn't too much on swimming at the moment, and more on helping her find the answer to her question.

This was a problem indeed, though not really for the Yuki. Being anti-social was one thing, but not knowing what one enjoyed was a huge issue in itself. What did she do on any kind of free time up until this point in her life? Did she just sit in a corner all to herself until she was called upon ? Her responses causes Val to question some things about her. While Val may be in the Neutral area about most things and Task Oriented...one could say close to a Blank Slate, he had many things that he enjoyed doing even if he didn't visually expressed it with bright smiles and glowing. Often times the Yuki found himself just going to his tunes if not occupied with anything else that he enjoyed or was tasked with doing, so to encounter an individual that was so unsure about what they enjoyed regarding a day like this was out of the norm. Something like this would also give him the thought that she had missed out on so much, and to try to run through alot of stuff in a short time just to find out what she liked would be quite difficult, and Probably far more bothersome in actual practice. That aside, there wasn't much wrong with just not knowing something, as that was an issue that every single human being faced on a daily basis, including himself. It was that aspect in which he could only sympathize with her to some degree.

" Better late than never ".

He unbuttoned one other button before coming to a stop again. A part of him wanted to continue on with what he had initially planned to do, but then at the same time there was the other part of him that wanted to help her with this problem of hers. It wasn't too often that he encountered individuals like herself, and to push it aside for some reason just wouldn't have seemed too right, even to him. He then slowly began reversing his current actions of unbuttoning his shirt, restoring it to it's previous state of completely concealing his body.

" Your Boss probably saw this issue in you. I'll help you figure it out ".

His hand reached down for the Articles of clothes that he had already removed, slowly putting them back on, ending with putting the Cloak around him. It was in the instance of re-buttoning his shirt that the Yuki had made a decision, but before he would engage any further, he would introduce himself to her despite her not having asked him for it.

" Im Val. What's your name  ? ".

Generally it was a good idea to get introductions in first to establish some form of connection between the individuals before partaking in any kind of activity, whether it was swimming together, sparring together, or even just talking together. What was going to be done was completely unknown to the Yuki at the moment, but he figured that maybe something that many people did around the village and starting there. Sparring did come across his mind, but he wasn't aware of her status.
